We all know that ginger abuse is a real and present issue in schools. I don’t know a single redhead who hasn’t been subjected to some level of teasing and/or bullying in their youth (myself included), so this experiment by ABC News is a very interesting attempt at highlighting the issue to others.
The premise is simple: what would ordinary diners do if they witnessed a teenage redhead being bullied in public? To test this, they hired actors to stage such a situation and placed hidden cameras inside a restaurant to film people’s reactions. The results are encouraging, even on such a small scale experiment.
